
NEVISIAN RECEIVES TOP AWARD IN 2008 OECS ESSAY COMPETITION
Kalea Clarke, a sixteen-year old student of the Charlestown Secondary School, Nevis secured the first place prize of $5,000 in the 2008 ECCB organised OECS Essay Competition. Her essay focused on the topic: What Strategies should the ECCU Member Countries Adopt to Ensure that their Residents Play a Greater Role in the Development of their Local Economies?
