Expressions of Interest - Temporary Country Managers

Suitably qualified residents or citizens of Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada and Montserrat are invited to apply to express their interest for temporary engagement as Country Manager, at the Agency Office of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. The applicants should be based in the countries listed above. If successful, they will be engaged for temporary employment periodically as needed. All applicants must complete the ECCB Employment application form.  

Applicants must have: 

  • A Bachelor´s degree in Economics, Finance and or a business related discipline;
  • At least 5 years working experience at a senior level in the public service, such as Ministry of Finance; or working       experience at the senior level in a commercial bank;
  • The ability to cope well in and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills;
  • The ability to work as part of a team and function independently;
  • Leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal and networking skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; and
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.

The applicants should be based in the countries listed above. If successful, they will be engaged for temporary employment periodically as needed. All applicants must complete the ECCB Employment application form.  

Applicants must have

  • Administrative certification from an accredited institution;
  • A minimum of five (5) CXC General Proficiency level passes (Gen I and II), or the equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics; and
  • A sound working knowledge of all applications in Microsoft Office Suite.

The following would be considered assets:

A minimum of three (3) years experience in the administrative field;

  • A flexible and proactive approach to work;
  • The ability to learn quickly on the job and adapt to a fast paced dynamic environment;
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills;
  • A high level of motivation and the ability to work as part of a team and function independently;
  • Leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; and
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
