
ECCB Governor Receives Award for Exceptional Contribution to Finance
The ECCB Board, management and staff warmly congratulate Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), Timothy N.J. Antoine, who has been recognised by Grenada for his exceptional contribution to Finance.
Governor Antoine is among 50 individuals and organisations across 20 categories who received awards for their outstanding contributions to nation building to mark Grenada’s golden jubilee (5oth) anniversary of independence. The awards were presented on Grenada’s 51st anniversary of independence on 7 February 2025 following a nomination period that was open to the public.
This prestigious award is a testament to Governor Antoine's exceptional leadership, dedication and selfless service in advancing the region’s development as a national, regional and international public servant spanning almost 32 years.
As Governor of the ECCB, he continues to champion innovative financial solutions and collective action for regional development.
The Awards Ceremony, which was held on 7 February at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium, brought together government officials, business leaders, external guests, members of the diplomatic and consular corps and citizens and residents of Grenada.
