Artificial Intelligence - Competitor or Collaborator?

Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) enhance one’s creative impact, or is it in direct competition to those working in the creative industry?

Speaking on this week’s episode of ECCB Connects, Psyche Southwell, Senior Customer Success Engineer at Argyle, a FinTech Company, says that one of best ways that creatives can amplify their creative impact is to view AI as a collaborator instead of a competitor.  She says that finding the synergy between human creativity and computational power will unleash innovation.  She added that boosting the impact and reach of the region requires a symbiotic relationship between both.

To underscore the power of AI in the creative sector, Southwell conducted a live demo during which she created an avatar and a website in under 20 minutes.  She explained that creatives can use three tools: ChatGPT, 10web.io and Synthesia.io to enhance their productivity at little to no cost, given the budgetary and time constraints that they face.

Southwell emphasised that that by relying on AI as a collaborator, those in the creative sector can focus more time on being original and unleashing their innovative impact.
