It is with a view to arming
participants with success tools for investing or to start
their own businesses that the ECCB has launched an annual
Wealth Symposium. This initiative forms part of the ECCB
coordinated Public Education Programme and will be rolled
out in all of the Bank’s member countries. The education
programme has as one of its main objectives, the enhancement
of the financial and entrepreneurial competencies of the
region’s people and emanates from the Bank’s
agenda to promote economic development within the Eastern
Caribbean Currency Union.
The first symposium was
launched in St. Kitts in collaboration with the University
