OBJECTIVES:
The contest is designed to:
1. Increase financial literacy among the region's youth through
the creative expression of the concepts of money management
and investing.
2. Raise public awareness and understanding of money matters. ELIGIBILITY:

Participants must be enrolled
in a public/private primary or secondary school in the
ECCU. |
CONTEST ORGANISATION AND CONTENT:

The contest will be organised in two
categories: Category I, Primary School and Category II,
Secondary School. |
| |
Each entry must be an original,
previously unpublished work by the entrant. |
| |
The entry should be cartoon
of not more than six frames. |
| |
The cartoon should depict
the EC Dollar as a hero and incorporate the theme “Manage
Your Money, Enhance Your Life”. |
| |
Each entry must be legible. |
| |
Cartoons could be digital (computer) or
non-digital (hand drawn etc). |
| |
Cartoons could be in colour or black and
white. |
| |
Each entry must be submitted with an entry
form. (See copy attached). |
| |
Students may submit multiple entries. |
| |
Entries must be submitted to the ECCB
Agency
Office in your territory or the ECCB Headquarters
via the Education Coordinators and the Ministry of Education
by 8 December 2006. |

Each participant in this contest agrees
to assign all copyright, trademark and other intellectual
property rights to the ECCU Financial Literacy Month 2006

| JUDGING: |
| |
The contest will be judged on a regional
level. |
| |
Cartoons will be judged based on the innovativeness,
visual appeal, message and creativity. |
