OBJECTIVE:
The contest is designed to:
1. Promote awareness and understanding of various issues relating
to the theme for the month, “Your Money, Your
Future”.
2.Provide an avenue for primary school students to creatively
express their thoughts and ideas on financial issues.
ELIGIBILITY:

Participants must be enrolled
in a public or private primary school in the ECCU. |

Participants must be 12 years or younger. |
CONTEST ORGANISATION AND CONTENT:

The contest will be organised in two
categories: Category I Primary Grades 1-3 and Category
II Primary Grades 4-6. |
| |
Each entry must be an original, previously
unpublished work by the entrant. |
| |
The entry could be a nursery rhyme or
a jingle. |
| |
The rhyme or jingle should be no more
than eight (8) lines in length and should be based on
the theme, “Your Money, Your Future”. |
| |
The rhyme or jingle should be catchy
and easy to understand. |
| |
Each entry must be legible, preferably
typed. |
| |
Each entry must be submitted with an entry
form. |
| |
Students may submit multiple entries. |
| |
Entries must be submitted to the ECCB
Headquarters via the Education Coordinators and the Ministry
of Education by 25 November 2005. |

Each participant in this competition agrees
to assign all copyright, trademark, and other intellectual
property rights to the ECCU Financial Literacy Month 2005
Nursery Rhyme/Jingle Competition. |
JUDGING:

The contest will be judged on a regional
level. |
| |
Rhymes/Jingles will be judged based on the innovativeness
of the nursery rhyme/jingle, the catchiness, and the clarity
of the financial issues captured. |

Category I - Grades 1 to 3:
