CRITERIA FOR THE SONG COMPETITION
Purpose
To celebrate in part the 25th Anniversary of the Eastern Caribbean
Central Bank.
Rules
1) The song should be between 3-5 minutes in length.
2) The song should be of a Caribbean rhythm.
3) The song should be original.
4) The ECCB reserves all rights to all entries submitted.

Participation
The competition is open to all citizens of the ECCU territories.
Prize
The winner will receive an award of EC$3,000.00 and an all
expense paid trip to St Kitts to perform the song at the Island/Cultural
Night at the ECCB Headquarters.
Submission Format
Entries should be submitted to the ECCB Agency Office in your
territory, or to the ECCB Headquarters, P O Box 89, Basseterre,
St Kitts. Entries should include one demo on CD, and
two (2) copies of the lyrics. Top^

Submission Format
Entries should be submitted to the ECCB Agency Office in your
territory, or to the ECCB Headquarters, P O Box 89, Basseterre,

By entering the competition,
entrants agree to the following:
1. Entrants hereby grant to the ECCB a perpetual, worldwide,
exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright
license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of, publicly
display, publicly perform, publish, broadcast, sublicense,
and distribute the Work and such Derivative Works.
2. Entrants agree that their work may be exhibited at venues
organized by the ECCB and through the ECCB website, or at
any other place determined by the ECCB.
3. Entry in the contest constitutes agreement to allow photographs
to be published, exhibited, reproduced and used in all forms
and media by the ECCB.
4. The writer authorises the ECCB to use the writer’s
name and likeness in connection with the competition. The
writer agrees to undertake publicity appearances for the Competition
as requested by the ECCB.
5. Each entry must be the original work of the person submitting
it;
By entering the competition,
entrants warrant to the ECCB that:
1. they have created and own the work submitted (including
all elements of the work) and that nothing within any work
that has been copied or added from another person’s
work.
2. the whole of the copyright and any form of intellectual
property rights in the work is vested in them.
3. they have not in any way assigned, licensed, disposed
of, or otherwise encumbered any of their rights which allow
them to deal freely with the work and the copyright therein.
Entrants acknowledge that the ECCB relies fully upon the
warranties and licence given by entrants when submitting their
entries, and in consideration of ECCB including works submitted
by entrants in the ECCB Song and Poetry Competition. Entrants
indemnify and hold the ECCB harmless from any claims, actions,
proceedings, costs and expenses arising as a result of any
allegation that the relevant entrant did not own or is not
wholly entitled, and authorised to allow publication and reproduction
of the work by the ECCB.
The ECCB shall not be liable for any loss of, or damage to,
any of the entries and entrants shall not object to any alteration
of the works nor to any adaptation or reproduction of the
