Media Round Table Discussions

In June, 2005, the ECCB began a series of discussions throughout its member countries with journalists, public officials, and business representatives. These Media Roundtable Discussions are being organised recognising the critical role played by the media in advancing public dialogue on issues critical to the region's economic development.

The discussions focus on the following themes:

1. The link between monetary, financial and fiscal stability issues;
2.OECS competitiveness and its impact on monetary and financial stability; and
3.OECS integration and policy coordination as strategic steps to further regional economic development.
